I've lived in Auden for the past year and a half, and I intend to continue to live here for the remainder of my graduate studies. My first year was in a four bedroom suite apartment, where I had the master bedroom and for this current year I upgraded to a studio apartment. On move in, the apartment had already been cleaned by the staff in both cases, and they had hand carts at the front to assist in carrying things in or out so moving was easy. The front desk staff are always helpful and nice to talk to, and maintenance is usually very swift in repairing the few issues I've had. Having a parking space in the underground garage is a very nice bonus too.
The only issue I've had, which is more of a funny and minor inconvienence than an actual issue, is that the elevators seem to be set to always have one stationed on the ground floor and to avoid going to the below ground garage. This usually results in it being faster to take the stairs from the garage to the ground floor and then grab the elevator up from there than to press the button at the elevator itself.
Overall, I highly recommend Auden Buffalo as an option for student housing.

I have now been living at Auden for 3+ years. One year was in a 4 bed 4 bath suite and 2+ were in a studio for which I am paying 1,300+ a month including services.
I do not make use of the bus service but I recieve information to regular outages. The rooms constantly fill with smoke when cooking and this can easily set off the fire alarm. While I do not use it personally, I have never once seen the pool open since my first year here's summer despite it being used as a selling point.
I submitted a work order for fixing my dishwasher on 3/20/25. As of now it has yet to be fixed. This was following a long period of waiting for an air conditioning unit to be fixed (approx 2 weeks for that). It is worth noting that recently (Febuary 1st of this year) the apartment management changed and during the entire online payment system was nonfunctional and rent could not be paid until March. They allowed us to pay later due to their error but these issues have led me to believe that there may be more issues down the line.
Should the issues be resolved, I'll update this review back to 4 stars.
